~September Financials/Minutes: September minutes, Irvin motioned, Mikel seconded. Motion carried.
Mikel made a motion to approve the September financials, Irvin seconded. Motion carried. Mikel made a motion to pay all outstanding bills, Irvin seconded. Motion carried. Irvin made motion to transfer $10,000 from the Illinois Funds Operations acct to the General acct., Mikel seconded. Motion carried.
~Kent gave his NRCS report as written. CSP applications are continuous. Eqip applications are also continuous. There is a back log of nearly 60 EQIP applications; which will help securing funding for next year. There is a grower meeting scheduled for January 31st to review the results of the ADAPT Network. The control section of the Grove 2 stage ditch is waiting for completion once crops are harvested. One wetland has been completed and three others are planned for this fall. The lack of the farm bill has halted new applications for CRP.

~Ross gave his RC report as written. Howard Heatherwick’s SSRP application was approved for funding; Alan will honor $10,000, checking with US Fish and Wildlife Service for an additional $10,000 for funding. Cover Crop tour is scheduled for November 20th. IDOA plots will be toured and revisited next spring for a second tour. The Wildlife Management Meeting was held at Davis Lodge with 25 in attendance. Speakers were Darryl Coates, Doug Gass and Matt Graden. The Soil Health Seminar will be held December 10th at the Asmark Center Building. There were a few trees left over from the tree sale and due to some mail issues some fish orders were not received. We accommodated customers as best we could.
~Jackie gave her Watershed report as written. The White Oak boat ramp project is now complete; 440 feet of rock was installed and the total cost of the project was $24,200. The beach area shoreline project and lunkers has also been completed; over 1,000 feet of rock was installed. Four producers have enrolled in the CRP-CP 39 program to date. The annual report has been submitted to the City of Bloomington, Town of Normal and McLean County; annual reimbursements should be coming soon. Awarded the FOE Jim Rutherford Volunteer Award to Eric Varner. She has been elected for a two year term as a director to FOE. Also, received a $500 grant from WildOnes for a butterfly garden.
~Stephanie gave her AC report as written. The DIRT newsletter has been sent out to teachers. The Fish Sale saw a $379.90 profit and the Tree Sale a $912.90 profit. The Lake Bloomington and Evergreen Lake transect surveys are completed and findings have been sent back. The FFA soil Judging contest went well with spreadsheet that created for scores. Stephanie created and send out the flyer for the Cover Crop Tour. Winter Training will be Dec. 3&4 in Springfield.

~New Business: The Annual Mtg will be in March. The next Board meeting was set for December 11, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the USDA Service Center. The meeting concluded at 9:00 a.m.
